I find so many good recipes online that I use once and plan to use again, but somehow I end up losing or forgetting about the recipe. I NEVER get around to printing or organizing my recipes. So, I have several links to recipes somewhere in my bookmarks folder, and other recipes are lost out in cyberspace somewhere.
So, when I got the chance to review Cook’n Recipe Organizer, I was so excited! Finally, a way to organize my recipes!
But then I found out that this Recipe Software does so much more than that.
It can:
- Capture recipes from the internet
- Find recipes online
- Let me enter my own recipes
- Share recipes with my family and friends
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly menus
- Create shopping lists
- Show nutritional data
- Insert pictures into my recipes
- Print recipes
This is exactly what I need to get my life organized! (Well, get my recipes organized at least.)
The software was easy to install. And while I was waiting for the installing to complete, there was a how-to video for me to watch. So, as soon as the program was on my computer, I was already able to start collect and organizing recipes.
Now I can create and save my weekly menus so in the future I can easily use them again.
I liked how I could search for recipes and then, when I found one I liked, I could capture it into the Cook’n Recipe Organizer. One drawback, though, is that you can’t capture recipes from every website, only certain ones. So when I find a great recipe on a blog somewhere, I have to input it myself. But entering a recipe myself is pretty simple and doesn’t take very long.
I’m really enjoying creating my own cookbook in the Cook’n Recipe Organizer.
